Round 8

Post by Stephenie Ward on Jul 17, 2006 21:06:01 GMT -5
Khafre won the first Immunity, Menkaure 2nd. Khufu goes to TC again! Here's the first game twist. Once a tribe is down to 2 people, they will be randomly assigned to the 2 other tribes. So whoever survives in Khufu from this TC will be shipped to the 2 tribes. It will be interesting because at Final 10, I'll still have a Tribal IC, and whoever wins that IC will have a 5-4 advantage at merge (Final 9). Then there's Terry and his Book of the Dead. I sure hope he comes back. That book is too good to waste.

Does sound interesting! I bet they are wondering/speculating on the merge in their camps. A few here would remember one other online game going down to 2 tribe members - or was it one in martinique?
I thought you would change the clue maybe when you reburied it! I did see Jon post that he thought it was easy and - so good for him for snatching it up.
I forget the reward for teh book of teh dead - but do hope Terry gets back soon, too - mostly to know he is ok.
So you used BB and TAR trivia? or some survivor too? How many questions did it take to win?

I used BB, TAR, and Survivor. I got 15 Q's prepared then randomized them. It takes 5 points to win Immunity. I was pulling my hair out last night coz they were giving me a headache. I cancelled 2 questions because people were randomly typing answers.
I have the chat transcript save. It's quite long.
Yes, people are discussing about the merge. Menkaure, or specifically Sally, is so hardcore in strategizing. LOL. She has this elaborate plan of getting the 2 last Khufus on their side and use them to eliminate the Khafres. The interesting part is the Menkaure's first target is Fairplay! OMG I can't wait to "see the look on their faces" when Fairplay pulls out the Book of the Living.
And there's also the Book of the Dead. IF Terry uses it, I don't know who he will align with (probably Khafre, since Lydia/Heather is there).

lol! I think that would be quite frustrating for a host as well as very tense for most players. It's hard in a live chat - but a very good way to have that kind of challenge - and it was different! I see there is a vacation in the schedule - you get a break, too then

Well I'm back! And Khufu might be having an interesting TC.
Judd said they've talked about forcing a 3-way tie in TC. That will force them to do a showdown. We all know Teresa can be a backstabber, so she *might* back down on her word and vote for Trish or Judd. BUT, she had also wanted to quit one time, I just talked her out of it. She might self-vote, thus giving her 2 votes which votes her off out of the game...

The tie-breaker posting challenge is over! Judd is safe with 110 posts. Trish is safe with 102 posts. Teresa has been voted off out of Khufu. She broke the 4th rule of the posting challenge (no back-to-back posts should be the same) so her final score was 1. Now the fun begins!!! I will use randomizer.org to determine Judd's and Trish's new tribe!

Yea, it was, but since Terry went AWOL the tribe just kind of crumbled.
Actually, it started when Judd backstabbed Brady. Judd shouldn't have voted for Brady. Then again, that time was the time when Brady was having problems with his internet so he couldn't be reached, which lead Judd to think he's being snobbed.
Anyway, one more Tribal RC/IC! The Khufu who makes the merge WILL have a lot of power because he can flip flop. Hopefully s/he knows how to do it.
Teresa/Ann would have been good at flip flopping. LOL

So, does anyone have any of the books or the Wrath of Ra now that Terry's out?

Post by Stephenie Ward on Jul 27, 2006 9:38:41 GMT -5
I edited my message up there. Hehe.
Yea, Terry is the leader of the "Boys Club" and him being gone sort of let Judd loose to do what he wanted.
No, Terry's Wrath of Ra has been lost because he was voted off (part of the rule). He gets to leave Immunity but so far he hasn't. He still have the Book of the Dead, but if he doesn't show up, then it will be the same as him deciding on not using it on himself.
Brady knows Terry has the BoD, so he's clamoring for me to "put it up" again for the others to find, but I didn't have that in the rules, so I said no, I have to wait for Terry to come back.

Oh and the Book of the Living has been reburied, but Fairplay finds it the moment they won the first Reward after the reburying. It's annoying! lol. I think I make the clues so easy. Then again, I don't want to make it too hard that no one will be able to find it.
